OUR ACTIONS
Each school class is a micro-word mirroring current social circumstances and acting as a lab in which a considerable part of children’s development and directions of growth is shaped.
MUS-E brings qualified artists into classroom to work with children and teachers during curricular hours to produce multi-art works together. In the unfolding of this joyful action, children acquire a legacy of skills that will help them to be healthy, balanced, creative, inclusive, curious and conscious adults of tomorrow.!--HTML-->

OUR VALUES
- We believe in children, the citizens of tomorrow.
- We believe that their education, their training path, their culture, is the most precious asset we have. It needs to be cultivated with competence and passion.
- We believe that art, in all its forms, can fulfill this function, beyond any cultural, social, economic diversity, breaking down barriers and bringing a true message of peace.
SOCIAL INTENT

We are committed to bring art workshops in any school in Cyprus, schools in rural areas
and schools with greater social contrasts and cultural diversity. All MUS-E workshops are free of charge for schools and parents.
CHILDREN, CITIZENS OF TOMORROW

We believe that it is essential to start with children to create new generations able to live in harmony with each other, beyond culture, origin, disability and any difference
ART AS A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE

We believe that the language of art, more than any other, can help us along this path towards the future. For this reason, we choose the most qualified artists to entrust them with the most precious treasure we have: children.
THE ROLE OF ARTISTS

Artists need to be connected to education. The gift they bring to society needs to be shared and used in any educational setting.
EDUCATION IN THE NEW MILLENNIUM

The arts deliver precisely the kind of thinking and working skills needed in the workplace of the new millennium: higher order thinking, imagination and creativity, risk-taking and experimentation, teamwork, technological competences, flexible thinking, appreciation for diversity, self-discipline, persistence and taking initiative.
NATURE-BASED LEARNING

Where possible, the MUS-E artists develop activities immersed into
natural environments (school garden, forest, seaside), fully aware of the
outdoor special learning opportunities.
Arts and nature can combine for amazingly effective educational
experiences.
RESPECTING DIFFERENCES

The reasons why a child can be excluded are
many: cultural origin, linguistic difficulty, disability, even the colour of
the skin. Mus-e believes in inclusion to build fairer societies, in which differences
are not obstacles but as a source of wealth.
TRASPARENCY

We are an open book: all the classes in which the Mus-e project will be present, and the budget, will be published on the site, to always let you know how your donations are used.
